| About the Artist | I was born in Hungary, raised in Detroit Michigan, U.S.A. and now live on a kibbutz in Israel. I studied art in the States and in Israel and have participated in several group & solo exhibits. I have also studied and worked in graphic design. I've been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember...on paper, canvas, wood, masonite etc. I work in several mediums and styles. Often, I work on a few paintings at a time... taking a break from each so as to see it again, later, with new eyes. I enjoy painting and everything about it - the colors, the textures, the medium. My subjects range from imaginary landscapes - usually wheatfields which I love, womanscapes (woman as earthmother), facialscapes & fantasyscapes - to abstracts. I also do paintings by commission. I would love to get any and all feedback about my work. |
